Mike Mollo Vs Andrew Golota Poll

This Cross roads fight will be on the RJJ Vs Tito Card. A win for Mollo could well set him up for a title shot maybe at the end of the year, And I am sure if Golota wins he will manage to get another title shot soon.
I am picking Mollo to KO Golota in the first 3 rounds his.

Golota is still fighting? Dang...I doubt he has much left. Between Golota, Tito and Roy fighting it will be like stepping back in time!

This fight could go either way IMO...Mollo has shown that he is very dangerous in the early rounds, he has a monster left hook and he knows how to finish. However, Mollo was exposed by Davarryl Williamson when he ran out of gas trying to KO Williamson early, Williamson took advantage of the fatigued Mollo and he stopped him for a 4th round TKO.

If Golota can survive Mollo's early onslaught he has a chance to take advantage of Mollo's below average stamina and stop Mollo in the mid rounds.

This fight will not go the distance IMO...I am not sold on Mollo yet so this fight should let us know if he is a legitimate contender or not.

Mollo is the worst possible match-up for Golota. Lennox Lewis made the blue-print on how to beat Golota. Brewster used it, McBride tried to use it and Mollo will use it as well. Golota doesn't warm-up for his fights and he tries to get a feeling for the first few rounds.

Against a bullrush fighter like Mollo, those first few rounds are critical. I see Mollo hitting Golota with left hooks at will, like against Kevin McBride unless Golota comes in prepared for it.

If he doesn't, I pick Mollo by 1st or 2nd round TKO.

If he does, I pick Golota by 5th or 6th round TKO.

I like Mollo he is exciting to watch and has good offensive skills and good hand speed but he does have poor stamina. Hopefully he can perform well against Golota it would be great for a fighter of his style to do well, of course if Golota lasts the first 3-4 rounds Mollo could lose, I still think that a loss early in a career is not the end of the world look what has happened to Wlad and Haye.

ABAG=Always Bet Against Golota. You'll make money almost everytime. Beating no talent Kevin McBride last time was probably the biggest win in his entire overhyped career. I don't even remember seeing Mollo, but I would bet on him on blind faith alone.

These are exactly my thoughts on this fight. I always liked Golota because he is a fellow Polack but I'm gonna say that Mollo gets to Golota in this one. Mollo has a ton of power and if Golota gets caught early its over and I think he will. Tyson couldn't drop Mcbride and Mollo knocked him around like he was fighting a welter weight...

It was funny watching Mcbride in that fight.
