that's funny. I used to take ripped fuel before I went to the gym several years ago. It was nothing, I did it for more energy and to have more efficient work outs. Bought it at GNC.

If thats all Roy Jones did, then people are seriously wrong for calling him a roid abuser.

that is all he did... the drug he tested positive for, was androstenedione.. and that drug was in ripped fuel sold at GNC...

I just don't know if it's possible to go from this:

        To this:

        In 6 months.

However steroids aren't always that helpful:

        Toney on steroids.

He just looked the way a 200 lbs 5'10" fighter should be looking at that weight.

What is with this masking BS, if RJJ masked his steroids before the Hall fight why wouldn't he have after or during that fight? He was tested positive ONCE, accept it people, don't waste your precious time debating it

he hired mackie shilstone, who is a legendary trainer in building up athletes... the fact of the matter is, you have to look at what he tested positive for... and what the chemical did... and the fact of the matter is he tested positive for androstenedione, a substance found in over the counter energy drinks sold at GNC and Vitamin World... which NOT until 2004 was deemed illegal... illegal is illegal and i agree... but before 2004 it WAS LEGAL.. and its hardly the chemical to make you some huge machine...

That was from serious weightraining and nutrition, theres a good hour long documentary on how roy jones was made to look like that. Its actually not hard to understand, he put on 25 pounds of muscle. He usually walks about at 185 to 190 pounds and he is still very solid at that weight. He has always lost a small portion of muscle to make weight. its probabley easier for him to look like he does at heavyweight than it does to look like he does at lhw.

yeah i have the documentary... on dvd... and seriously, would he be taking steroids to purposely build muscle that was illegal... before one of the biggest fights at the time... KNOWING he would be tested... doubt it... the chemical was LEGAL before 2004, and sold at GNC, and did not help for muscle building, it was an energy drink... any ROY HATER will simply say he took steroids thats why he was good, and they will be ignorant to the fact, of what he took, what it did, and that it used to be sold in the mall...

Did you see Bernard Hopkins' bodymorph with just 15 pounds of added weight? This was in 6 months time as well, I remember Larry Merchant being impressed at ringside with his body for the Tarver fight. I'm more impressed with him being able to shed the weight even though he looked aweful afterwards

"Hall (Nevada states head of dopking) stated during interview that Jones had tested positive for anabolic steroids use when the two met back in May of 2000.

Hall stated "I now tender my resignation he (Mr Jones) has now failed four doping test (97,98,00 x2) they have also lost seven of Mr Roy Jones samples. I have written to both the NewYork and Nevada state athletic commisions stating that he (Jones) has tested positive for Testosterone Enanthate at least four times, his serum levels were 100x that of normal levels."

when pressed into the effect that would have on his performances he added: "Its like he is taking a machine gun into a knife fight his strentgh and speed would be too much for two men to overcome".

ROY JONES JR. IS IN DENIAL
                    By Elisa Harrison

                    MIAMI, FLA.

When questioned about his lack luster form in training Roy Jones seemed lost for words and so he should. This is his first bout since the new approved commissioned human growth hormone test is being used. Anthony Hall the former head of doping was newly re-appointed after being proven right in the James Toney case (See appendix 43) has demanded weekly tests for Testosterone and groth hormone for Roy Jones Jr.

Mr Hall has claimed and shown undeniable evidence of irregular testosterone levels in mr Roy Jones, who has claimed that it was suppliments that caused the spike in his serum levels. Those claim have been squashed by male hormone experts who called them farsicle.

I caught up with Mr Hall during my stay in Las Vegas last week and he stated: "This is the first fight that we are able to put together a testing regime foolproof to any comebacks. Its the same regime mr Jones took part in back in 97 but this time it has a government seal on it, his lawyers or anybodies lawyers for that matter can contest." When pushed by his distain for Jones he added: " I and the rest of the Nevada and New York state know that he (Roy Jones) was using illegal means going into all of his fight from 1996 FACT." a loophole and good lawyers got him off." When i pushed Hall about the statements hes made he said: "Look its in black and white every fight since 1996 we tested his serum testosterone levels they were through the roof. Now those tests which are 99.9% accurate were called wrong i will be intrested to see how he performes in his next bout if his performance levels stay the same then i say hes still a cheat, but i have a feeling he (Roy Jones) will not be able to sustain the level of performance without using these hormones"

"Lets see how he does in the Tarver bout"

Dude, I was agreeing with everything you said. I dont htink roy jones ever cheated in a pro fight and for people to question is physique. Jones has always looked like that, at hw, he looks the same as he did at lhw, just more muscle.
