yeah what the hell is that. Guys like that (*cough* Skils *cough*) aren't even fans of boxing, they are a fan of a single fighter.

What is with this ball washer ****ing attitude?

okay I'll play devil's advocate here. Look at it this way. Many fans don't want Kobe Bryant on their teams roster. I mean Kobe is the best all around player on the team, but he comes with an albatross contract and an attitude of a 3 year old, sometimes he plays well with others, most times he doesn't. He can be a cancer to the team even if he is the best. Does that sound like a bad basketball fan. Boxing is purely an entertainment enterprise, we pay to see the best fights or best styles, but our "performers" won't look the best or stay in the business if they can't make the money. I work on both sides of the sport and as an investment side I can see manuevering fights along to get certain paydays and set up for others, also as a fan its the most frustrating **** ever. Dollars makes sense for the fact this is a business. Its like selling diamond rings for $20 if your a ***eler when you could get $1,000 instead. I don't like it, but its the reality we're faced with.

I personally don't want to see a rematch with Oscar cause Oscar did not have any rematch claws in his contract and the fight was not even close.

Oscar is still one of the tougher fights out there, if anyone thinks Cotto will be a tougher fight then Oscar then you really are a boxing n00b!

            Oscar > Cotto

Miguel Cotto is a top 10 p4p fighter.

                Oscar is not.

Miguel Cotto is good. Oscar was good at one time.

                See the difference?

Because they are ****ing lame, acting like their boxer is their family or something, making excuses for him. Not enough money, the other guy doesn't deserve a chance....****** stuff.
I want to see my favourite boxers fight anybody, #1, #2 or #20 doesn't matter. For all i care put a bum off the street in the ring with them.

I can see where fans would be understanding about a fighter not getting the money he commands, but when they actually worry about it that's something else. It comes down to whether you are a boxing fan or are you a Mayweather/Cotto/Pacquiao/etc. fan

i think most guys (especially on forums who tend to overstate their "Fighter's" abilities) are afraid their guy will get beat and make them look bad.

People sometimes tend to be afraid of being wrong.

I dont have a favorite fighter...i have a group of fighters (around 10-15) that i really enjoy watching and like to see them do well but not a top guy.

I'm not afraid to make predicitions and things like that because i dont do like guys do when it comes to manny pacquiao and floyd fans (or floyd haters who think every opponent will beat mayweather) and say crazy things.
