P4P list is bad for Boxing

P4P list it bad for Boxing ? Roy & Floyd 2 tremendously gifted Fighter's that we have never or will never see the best of because of this list ,once u rise to the top of this list it is Deck Chair & Cigar time

me as a Boxing fan am sick of it the way people assume they would beat everyone anyway ,what is the point in fighting we should all just go home & watch TV safe in the knowledge that no fighter on the planet could or would beat Roy or Floyd cause u few Die hard fan's said so LOL

& they do avoid someone it is because the other fighter is to Green

I think it set the level for other fight to competite rather then sit and layback on one belt.

it pushs the limit of other fighters to fight the best out there and the best avaible oppenet if he could

I think it's a mythical type of thing because the only way to prove it would be for people to fight, but that can't happen because of the weight differences and all. At the same time though I like it because it creates discussion and you here all sorts of reasons why somebody thinks so and so is the best fighter P4P, whether it makes sense or not.

i just think it adds to the situation we find ourselves in currently where a fighter will do anything to keep their 0 in tact.

frankly i couldn't give a **** who's p4p number 1. i just want to see the best fights made in each weight category

Ironic because you have Terry Norris in your avatar. Love Terry, though.

To me it is a two sided discussion. It's fine for fans and magazines/websites, but it should mean nothing in actual boxing. I'll never get caught up in an argument about P4P ratings because they are totally subjective. You can't really compare Joe Calzaghe to Manny Pacquiao on any rational basis.
