I've had no problems with them whatsoever. That said, I get it free with ******, so maybe that's why. Great channel, I wouldn't bother with Sky Sports now.Comment

i only bought setanta freeview (cant get cable on my street) for the boxing, it didnt say anywhere about the 3am shutdown.
then i found out i cant return the box.
i'm in the middle of a dispute with setanta at the minute, its complete mis-advertising.Comment

Setanta coverage is rather poor tho, they don't even have their own commentators to cover the fights, have to listen to King vision or Top rank commentators instead. Also Top rank coverage, in my experience, was rather biased especially in Cotto-Judah.Comment

I agree they have great shows but there production really sucks but its better than it used to be. If they seriously want to take on skysports that is what they need to improve on.Comment

Setanta is a godsend over here in the UK. For the equivilant of $5 a month we get most of the big fights.
We only have to pay PPV if Ricky Hatton is fighting, and still that's only around $8.
America get screwed up the ass for boxing. Their PPV varies from between $30-$50 and most of the big fights are on PPV.
I couldn't give a damn about the production value, It's better than not watching at all.Comment

i think you're slightly off with the currency conversion. the hatton fight was 14.95 so nearly $30.
setanta is £10 a month (unless you are getting the £5 offer for 3 months) so its nearly $20 a month.Comment
