    Who is paying for Tito-Roy?

    And why?

I don't really have a problem spending $50 on a Saturday night's entertainment, but I can't convince myself this is a reason to do it.

you're crazy. this is tito and jones jr who were both elite boxers at one point in their careers. and are still better than most of the top boxers out there. I get all the fights for free but, if I had to pay to see this fight, I would.

I'm probably gonna watch it at a bar. Yea I don't know if it's really worth a PPV for people other than hardcore fans of either fighter. It's basically two has-beens. Don't think it really does a lot for either's legacy.

I don't think Tito fighting in '08 at 170 lbs is "elite." I don't think he could beat any of the top ten at 168 right now, and maybe not even 160.

Because I'm interested in what Jones has left, hopefully seeing a one sided entertaining beating, and it's better to watch a fight on a huge tv rather then a computer screen where it could lag.

I'm going to the Heavyweight showdown instead. Good undercard with Duddy and Quillin both having fights.

That's just it.....people are always talking "fantasy boxing" and "what if" so-and-so had fought. Here we had two for-sure HOFers, and the question of "WHAT IF" will be answered at the Garden next week. I can remember when Trinidad wanted to fight Roy Jones (1999) when he looked like a malnutritioned, boney, Welter Weight. As much as I love watching Tito Trinidad, and is by far my favorite all time boxer, I said..."c'mon Tito, Roy Jones Jr is TOO big, TOO fast".

I just gotta know what happens! maybe if this fight wouldv'e happened sooner, some folks would be more hyped up. But as for me, a true boxing fan.....better late, than "WHAT IF".

Ali and Frazier were elite, but I wouldn't pay to see them fight again. Buying this crap just causes more of it to happen.
