I have a question: Why all the way in June? And is Miranda and Pascal going to fight in the interim?....

I'm sure we will not see that in June. Pascal is not ready, his promoter will find an excuse to push it forward.

yooo omar pittman is garbage and a half. pascal sucks. miranda will destroy that guy. easy money. pascal is mad fast but he gets hit waaaaayy too much. miranda's chin will hold up to pascal's chin no problem, and I dont need to comment on pascal's chin. Ok I will: Below average at best. Another candidate for KO of the year for Miranda. I'll tell you, Jim. Miranda's right hand looks so much more potent at 168 than at 160. He will eventually move up to light heavy without losing much at all.

After Miranda KOs Pascal, I wonder where he will go from there. Maybe, lacey?

Three months ago I would have laughed at you for saying that, now I am not so sure. Two consecutive poor performances from Pascal when he is supposed to be stepping to the challenge and taking it to the next level. It is starting to look like Pascal doesn't want it bad enough.

Miranda obviously got an impressive KO, but it's clearly mitigated by the fact that his opponent was David Banks. He'll get a lot of press for the KO, though, and I suspect that a lot of people will think that he is a holy terror again. I don't think so. Banks is about as weak as they come, and I personally think he would have gotten KO'd by Pascal and Pittman too. Miranda looked pretty passive for most of the fight. His jab (feeler) sucks, so I am certain that he is not just going to walk Pascal down and KO him. Pascal has a pretty sharp jab (at least early on) and left hook so he will land plenty on Miranda, and we know that Miranda doesn't have a great chin.

Pascal obviously has problems too. As Teddy said, he pulls straight back from almost all of his punches, so he is open to being countered all of the time. Beyond that it seemed that 95% of Pascal's punches were lefts. He needs to mix it up IMO or just about anyone is going to be able to time him before ten rounds is up. Also, he showed a very suspect chin on Saturday. The punches that Pittman hurt Pascal with were good, not great shots, yet Pascal took an awful long time to recover from them. Pascal got rocked in the 7th and wasn't himself until the 9th. A better fighter would have KO'd him for sure.

Anyway, based on Saturday's fight, I'd still pick Miranda by mid to late rounds KO. I think he gets dominated early by Pascal's better jab and speed, but eventually catches Pascal with some hard stuff later on to win it in impressive fashion. Not really going out on a ledge, I suppose, since I imagine that a lot of people see it the same way.

miranda has the edge over pascal but pascal is one tough guy standing at pantera's doorstep. i just hope miranda already forget his sad experience with "The Ghost" because if he is still haunted by that humiliating "ghost" experience, he will be in trouble.
