How has Green not earned it? Green hasn't beaten any high profile fighters like David Banks as is Miranda's case. Wait, Banks is all that high profile. The one real big bout for Miranda since the Green fight he was KO'd, and Pavlik has the same weight problems that Miranda has as well. I like a fight between Green and Miranda and quite honestly I hold Ruben Williams up as a better fighter than Banks, but since I haven't seen the KO tonight for myself; I might be more of a Miranda fan in the morning when I get home from work. Miranda isn't a fighter that is so much better than someone like Green, they deserve to fight each other. However, a Pascal/Miranda fight is much better at the moment and Green should target Lacy.

Miranda already beat Green like 6 mos ago..and Green has only fought 2 comeback fights...the first agains a 40 year old journeyman and the second against a soft punching banks type fighter who he didnt do great against..

Id rather see Miranda fight someone in the top 5 is all Im saying..

In all due respect, WIlliams is not anything like Banks. His fight with Atwun Echols (granted not two upper-echelon but top 15 guys) was a magnificent brawl that Williams won but had 2 points taken because of low blows (1 point would've been fine), and he gave Jeff lacy fits before standing and trading with him on the ropes. Williams is a better super middleweight and a more credible victory than Banks. I know Miranda won and like I previously stated, I don't want Green and Miranda to step in with one another next. But if they both "had" issues with nutrients and all that down at middleweight, it would make for possibly a better fight at SMW. But to say that Green doesn't deserve to fight someone like Miranda is bit of a overstatement. Let Miranda fight Pascal and Green fight someone credilbe like a Tyspko, Lacy, Mundine and both win. Let the fight simmer a bit, for Miranda/Pascal is beyond boiling over at the moment.

Nice knockout!! First time I have seen this Banks guy, I dont think he really ever stood a chance. Maranda was just waiting to put a hard one on him....But all the same nice knockout.

I know it hasn't even been half a month since 2008 started, but in all seriousness, it is going to be damn hard to beat that KO for KO of the year.

This one was better than Cintron-Matthysse IMO.
