How can you not be a fan of Miranda

We all know his story, homeless as a kid, the roadkill diet, the runaway who finds boxing and becomes almost the best in the world, from rags to riches. and he's a very nice guy. comes from the worst possible circumstances and still succeeds in the hardest sport in the world.

Gotta love this guy Miranda. I tell you, watching him take that beating, that prolonged pounding from Pavlik, was heartbreaking to watch. Let's hope Miranda can come back stronger and win a world title. Please Allah, Buddha, God, Yawheh and Zeus give this brave beautiful kid the power to be a champ!

I can agree that Miranda is a likeable guy and a tough fighter but it seems you like him a little TOO much.

He is better Value for money than some so called Champs out there.
He will fight anyone and always turns up to trade.
          Can't knock that.

He fights too much. A lot of people on this site are elitists. They think it makes them smarter to like fighters who box rather than fight.

Everyone who follows boxing for Exciting fights rather than to display how much they know about boxing skill LOVES Miranda.

(Miranda also talks trash. Some people may not like that.)

Miranda is a good, exciting fighter. I hope the move to 168 is what he needs to get back on track. Looking forward to a Kessler/Miranda matchup in 2008.
