Chambers does seem like the type of fighter McGirt would do good with. Since he's a smaller HW he's used his speed and athletic ability to beat his opponents. I think there could be a chance he could outbox Povetkin, but Povetkin seems like the next big thing in the HW division. We'll see though maybe Chambers will prove me wrong.
this is good news.
watch chambers last fight against brock. it was wierd. chambers was clowning around hands down making wierd faces. his dad in the corner was yelling at him and talking down to eddie. eddie would throw a tantrum and go back out there doing the exact opposite of what his dad said.
he squeeked by with an SD against a washed up brock.
glad to see mcgirt with him.
be interesting to see how the plodding povetkin react to chambers who isnt going to stay in front of him.

He'll do fine against Chambers. It's been a while since I saw his fight against Byrd but you really think Chambers is more elusive and harder to get at than Byrd?
Either winner will be the future of the division. Not too much young talent coming around besides these two and especially American talent. Arreola is the only other prospect and he's bound to lose soon and Mesi isn't doing much and getting older. Both of these fighters win or lose will be big in the division.
