Glen Johnson does have 32 KO's out of 47 wins, one of the best KO percentages in the whole LHW division, he is a decent puncher.

Dawson hasn't been in serious trouble but he has been dropped a few times and Floyd Sr his former trainer says Dawson can't take a punch at all.
Floyd Sr isn't a reliable source because he hates Dawson but the jury is still out there.
Dawson has the best defense that Johnson has ever seen so Dawson will not be getting hit as often as you make it seem.

Roy was past his best and coming down from heavyweight, Tarver had already cracked Roys chin and the fight with Johnson was only about 3 months from that fight.

Floyd SR. also said that Andre Dirrell stopped Dawson in sparring, which is totally not true. He is just frustrated because Dawson let him go.

Yeah man....Dawson has to get by Johnson first though, that is not an easy task.

Not an easy task at all but i see him winning by wide UD in a tough fight. Johnson 3 years ago would put up a much better fight but he has slowed down. He went 8 rounds with his last opponent and it looked like they found that fighter on the street, he was terrible.

If you keep Johnson at medium range at the end of punches, he is completely nullified. Johnson has been keeping busy by facing fighters older than even he is. Montell Griffin, Pineda, these guys are done. Johnson was trying to fight Reggie Johnson for Pete's sake. Johnson turned down younger contenders like Shaun George because Warrior's Boxing wants to get him a big payday and then cash him out.

If Johnson has a close fight with Dawson I can see it happening. Roy Jones has beaten every other man he has faced except Glen Johnson.

He is a hard worker, a great boxer, and a class act. No matter what he does in the ring from here on out, he has earned my respect.

If Dawson stops Johnson he should get all the credit in the world, he would definitely be a legit threat in the LHW division to anyone.

Honestly, I see a decision going Dawson's way but not without a fight. Johnson will definitely test Dawson's toughness.
Glen Johnson fought a great fight.

He did not get the decision but he fought well and proved many people wrong.
A shame how he felt about the fight and the judges decision. I can definitely understand, he has had many close ones go the other way.

Chad Dawson did impress me, he might have a shaky chin but he has the heart to back it up. He will be hard to beat as long as he sticks to boxing and forgets about brawling.
