I dont think you understand the logic mate, Mayweather was expected to win against Hatton so the risk is on Mayweather if he beats Hatton people would say well the Man is the best in the world so he was suppose to do that,

But there is more risk in Hatton fighting Witter because if he losses to Witter then it a different story altogether.

my guess would be Torres/Hatton ... if your Hatton why fight Kendall Holt, when you can fight Ricardo Torres for a belt. just my take on it.

Witter is a bum compared to Hatton, has fought nobody and has struggled with Euro level opponents. The guy would get his ass handed to him, and badly at that. I'm a fan of Witters boxing (Witter himself is a **** tho), but no way this guy can live with Hatton.

Hatton will fight Witter next year IF he plays his cards right. Ricky will take a tuneup fight then fight Malinnaggi in New York. After that he WILL fight Pac at the end of 2008 or early 2009. If Witter gets another or belt two, Hatton will have to fight him and has always said he would eventually. Junior loses and he can kiss that payday goodbye.
