Really? I've seen two of his pro fights now and both were damn exciting! Similar in style and looks to Chavez Jr. His fight with Vera Cruz (sp?) was fantastic. Really exciting two way fight, certainly no one sided beat-down by him. Both of them really need to work on some defense and get this idea that to be tough you need to be able to get hit in the face and take it out of their heads.

I really think both could become something pretty special, maybe not as good as Snr, but still great champions nonetheless. They also both need to work on their speed I think. They are still very young but neither one is particularly blessed in the speed department.

Edit: The Chavez Jr fight sounds like it's going to be very tough for him and will hopefully get rid of all the people saying he needs to step it up. He has been stepping it up slowly and correctly just the way a good prospect should. This will be a tough challenge because I haven't seen him in with a fast, slick boxer yet and he will need to be able to deal with them to have a chance for a good championship run. Good luck to him, I really hope he can pull it off.

Celaya was a damn good amateur, but failed to convert it to a successful pro career. This should be a good action fight, along the lines of JCC Jr.-Sanchez, but nowhere near as competitive. Celaya just doesn't have the chin to stand up to Chavez, or the punch to keep him off. He's probably the better boxer, but in order to make that part count, he'll have to be in tip-top shape, something that hasn't been the case for at least 2 1/2 years.

I really think they are pushing this kid to fast. this kid he is facing isn"t no chump in the ring. Lets be honest if this kid wasn"t the son of a great would he be ware he's at today? also his camp is saying that after this fight they are going to come down to go for a title shot. Can someone please tell me who are they going after that has a belt at welterweight? we all know who are the ones that has a belt. They damn sure cant be talking about Flooyd
Mayweather, or Cotto, the only one that he might have a chance with is
Malinaggi, and he might not prevail with him. Like I stated before this kid
is moving a 1000 MPH he is not ready to go to the # 147 division.
