I mean, who the **** has heard of Jeff Lacy or Calvin Brock when Vincente Escobedo is in the game?

He's a prospect who lost before he got to 20 bouts... usually those guys don't become the most mainstream straight away.

Thanks for schooling me though. Much gratitude on my part.
See Juan Manuel Marquez and Rafael Marquez, Freddie Pendalton. Im sure you never heard of Pendalton

The guy with a 50% win record (or something like that) who fought Hatton.

It's different when you drop your first or second bout.

But wasn't this guy hyped as a prospect because of his amatuer background?

I don't think the Marquezs really were. I might be wrong though... as you said, I still am sort of new.

Regardless, I still don't think there is a less recognizable name in FNR3.

          I certainly didn't say he couldn't.

All I'm saying is that he doesn't have that big of a household name.

Is this okay with everyone, or are you all going to keep jumping on my back?

Okay... fine. Here are the modern fighters in FNR3:

              Evander Holyfield
              Roy Jones Jr.
              James Toney
              Calvin Brock
              Jeff Lacy
              Bernard Hopkins
              Jermain Taylor
              Winky Wright
              Oscar De La Hoya
              Arturo Gatti
              Ricky Hatton
              Micky Ward
              Diego Corrales
              Juan Lazcano
              Vicente Escobedo
              Jesus Chavez
              Erik Morales
              Marco Antonio Barrera
              Manny Pacquiao

The only three that you can even make a case for being the least known are Jesus Chavez, Juan Lazcano or Vicente Escobedo.
