    What if Mike Tyson...

What if Tyson got down to 215/regained his hunger and started training with Kevin Rooney again now? Would he still be screwed because of age and lack of size?

**this is a "what if" question, not to be taken too seriously**

A fighter like George Foreman that was never fast to begin with can still be effective in his 40's, a fighter like Tyson whose speed made up for his height deficit, can't. Plus Mike has already proved that the new psych meds that he's on are not conducive to boxing.

Dude, I would love to see Tyson ripping apart his opposition again. Stick him in with some journeymen (smaller guys) so I can at least see him destroy some people once again.

I know Tyson is done, but I'm saying what if he did regain the hunger/get back to a good weight and starting using some of his old skills. Is there any way he could be successful or would he still be too old? Its just a what if question, I know Tyson is really done.

A big part of his capabilities, were related to his youthful athleticism. I don't think those capabilities translate to an effective older fighter, as they do for other fighters with different capabilites.

He's too old, he should have ner gotten rid of Rooney in the first place.
