Well Gamboa has a huge amatuer background, has been boxing longer, and is 5 years older, so naturally he looks more polished at this point. They've both hit the canvas already in the pros, but Khan's was a legitimate knockdown, Gamboa's wasn't. They're fighting at close to the same weight, 135 vs 130, but Khan is 5'10" and Gamboa is 5'5", so we'll see how much that affects them as they move up in weight.

Based on number of pro fights, Gamboa looks like a better talent. Based on age, and factoring in overall experience, Khan does. Both of them look like they have a bright future ahead of them.

on pure talent, gamboa is the most talent prospect right now. wow, he is just amazing imo. of course with talent alone you wont get far, but for what ive seen he is on the right path.
im sure he will be a top 3 p4p some day.

I havent seen one person actually say Khan in this thread,so how is he winning by a point on the poll? If your voting for Khan, say why, dont just vote and not give a reason,so far im seeing Gamboas name with people explaining why

Gamboa has great talent and is amazingly fast in his hands, feet and head movement. Khan is younger, but his competition right now for a title in the LW division is pretty tough right now. I see Gamboa being a champ pretty soon and maybe even by the end of the year. Khan I don't know can beat the LW champs right now.

Gamboa. He has speed, power and all the makings for a future champion.
