By Jake Donovan - Not even Glen Johnson vowing to knock him out was enough to get undefeated light heavyweight "Awesome" Chad Dawson to deviate from his normal script. [details]

As promising as Dawson is, he's still yet to really prove himself in my books, admittedly because no one will give him a chance. I give Glen Johnson a good chance if he can rattle Dawson early. Adamek certainly had him in some trouble.

You didn't watch the fight. Dawson dominated every round and the fight was going to be stopped by Buddy if not for that flash knockdown. DOMINATED with his speed and elusiveness. Once Chad get's his chance he will make the most of it and it starts with Glen.

I agree with that, but that suggests a lack of concentration, something which is worrying. Didn't he get dropped against another guy also? As good as Adamek is, he's not as dangerous as some of the premier guys at 175lb.

Another Flash KD against Eric Harding in the 1st. Another fight he dominated but it is a bit of a worry that he loses his concentration and get's knocked down. However, everyone get's KD it goes with the territory.

Chad Dawson has faced 6 top 50 opponents and has been on the canvas 3 times, he would be wise not to underestimate Glen Johnson.

I don't think Dawson would be underestimating Johnson at all, if anything his fight with Adamek proved he will be too much for Johnson.
