Actually, the Rings Jan. 08 issue was published in, I believe, November. The Feb. 08 issue came out in December, before Hatton/Mayweather, and had Pavlik and Calzaghe in it. Now, in January, the March issue will come out. I don't know why they are doing it like that but.. yeah.. they do.

I got the Feb Issue with Pavlik on the front and it dont have anything about
Hatton vs Mayweather

Lets be honest, the internet has made these magazines obsolete. I used to buy them all. Now there are enough boxing websites with quality writers that I don't need them anymore.

that issue came out just a few days before the hatton mayweather fight.

there dates are screwed.

i saw the march 08 edition at the bookstore yesterday so you know januarys way outdated

That really doesn't make a difference! The point being that Taylor/Pavlik fight was 9/9/07 and Jan 08 issue said it would be in next issue! Four months is surely a long time between drinks to put together the article along with Kessler/Calzaghe and the Ratings which are very outdated! The features of the magazine should coincide along with the correct timeframe and not be so misleading publishing material that is in fact 5 months behind. Instead of The Ring putting Jan 08 it really should have been August 2007 issue. This is VERY misleading on the Magazine's behalf and at $25AU the content should at least be up to date. I really enjoy reading the Ring Magazine but surely the content MUST be up to date and not 5 months behind misleading it's readers!

I Just Buy Them For The Other Articals, And Have Something To Read Up On As To Not Forget The Sign Of The Times.
