I like watching chavez jr. fight he goes out their and really gives it his all... but i do think he needs to step it up to better fighters baldomir would have been a good fight or mayorga would be good too. If he fought those fighters at least it would be kinda worth it to PPV... But with celaya thats all "espn" or "solo boxeo".... I cant blame arum tho i would do the same thing.

He needs to be fighting bigger names at this point, I'm not discrediting him, but he hasn't fought a serious contender yet and he's had offers. I just want to see how he does against a legit treat

Jose Celaya hasn't a prayer in this fight. It's difficult to find fighters with lesser confidence and a more fragile chin. I do respect how they're bringing Chavez Jr along though. They're going to make sure he's ready when he steps up and I think he'll become a serious contender in the next 2 years.

yeah, i agree that chavez jr should aim for bigger names in boxing. fighting a less credible opponent will only stir an impression that he is not ready yet for a big fight. he has enough experience. i think zab judah is one worthy opponent. but i like chavez jr.'s fighting style. this man is destined for greatness!
