"Hall (Nevada states head of dopking) stated during interview that Jones had tested positive for anabolic steroids use when the two met back in May of 2000.

Hall stated "I now tender my resignation he (Mr Jones) has now failed four doping test (97,98,00 x2) they have also lost seven of Mr Roy Jones samples. I have written to both the NewYork and Nevada state athletic commisions stating that he (Jones) has tested positive for Testosterone Enanthate at least four times, his serum levels were 100x that of normal levels."

when pressed into the effect that would have on his performances he added: "Its like he is taking a machine gun into a knife fight his strentgh and speed would be too much for two men to overcome".

Steroids that gave him an unfair advantage in alot of his fights. When his serum levels were around normal at the, tail end of his career, he lost 3/4 fights and the win was that disputed first fight with Tarver.

lets get something straight, steroid use of any kind whatsoever is wrong and rrj should have been severely punished first time around, but to say he had an unfair advantage in 'alot' of his fights when failing tests only four times is a stretch, unless of course he stopped taking them in time for them to leave his system. whats your source?

It's a non title fight so the weights aren't being monitored by anyone official. Roy having to drop to this weight should be a concern, and IMO it's the only factor that can cause him to lose. A badly dehydratred boxer is vulnerable to any competent opponent, let alone Felix Trinidad. It's a legitimate issue.

Bull****, he only tested positive once and that was for the Richard Hall fight. Other than that, there's no proof or truth behind your statement. He didn't test positive for the Ruiz fight but I was kinda thinkin he would cuz he was kinda big on fight night.

Even so is ONCE NOT ENOUGH?

                Steroid abuse is a disgrace!
No matter how many times it is committed!

I was thinking that was bull****, i only remember rjj testing positive once, as bad as that is i think the story above is false. Did'nt Roy have Mackie Shilstone as nutritionist for the Ruiz fight? shilstone is world renowned and i highly doubt he would have allowed his fighter to take steroids, he wouldnt of needed to, shilstone knows what he is doing and knows how to 'bulk' a fighter up, he moved Michael Spinks and B-hop up in weight also
