I'm kind of hoping this game will be more realistic than fight night. One thing that irks me about that game is that right crosses have virtually the same effect as jabs do when in real life a right cross can knock somebody out. I guess I would like to see more damage caused by rights where there is haymaker-like power when thrown a certain way or something. I also would like to see a bigger roster of fighters in each division. There were some big names missing in a lot of the weight classes. Also, I wish they'd make the career mode more in depth. I haven't actually played Victorious Boxer but I hear from a lot of people that its career mode is very in depth to the point where you have to balance the fighters diet and such. All in all I'm really anticipating a new boxing game.
Fightnight Round?

Aww man, I hope they aren't cancelling the Fight Night series. I love those games. Don King is supposed to be coming out with his own game like you were saying and it's being developed by 2k sports. It's supposed to be like living as a boxer inside and outside the ring.Comment

yeah ****in right, but hey even I'm disappointed there might not be another fight night
Kudo being in charge was the major downfallComment

Id like to see something for the Wii which is waaaay more refined than the Wii sports boxing. But the principles are there in the Wii sports boxing hold your hands up to block and thro right/lefts to punch but it needs to be developed into a real boxing game.what's up with this ****? i heard somewhere ea sports has cancelled development of a new fightnight. i also heard don king is going to have his version of a boxing game out soon. i've played many boxing games but fightnight round 3 is by far the best, hope these rumors are not trueComment

I bought fight night round 3 about a week ago for $30 Aus brand new and have been playing it non stop, few things I don't like about it, the punch control is good and very in depth in terms of the punches you can throw and such, but the animation of it annoys me, seems really really slow. Also in the career mode it's not in depth enough for me as others are saying. Personally I like stats and things like that in my sports games and I haven't been able to find a list of the fighters I've beaten in my career mode and how I beat them.
So far my record is 25-3 with 25 K.O's, been knocked out twice and had one fight stopped. (first fight because I didn't know what block was, thought it was square haha).
Before I bought FN I had 'Rocky legeneds' pretty funny boxing game.
I was really looking forward to a new fight night game on one of the new platforms because I really thought they would work out the kinks and make an awesome game.Comment
