Thaxton is just using Khan to promote himself. Khan is under no obligation to fight anyone and especially not a washed-up journeyman who's been beaten by every class fighter he has fought. Khan is right to go after a world title if Thaxton isn't willing to accept a career high payday, even if that career high payday is smaller than Khan's percentage. I mean, what right does Thaxton have to claim a 50-50 split anyway? 80% of the people watching the fight would be watching for Khan.

I am not argueing with you man...your making self look foolish by thinking a journeyman is a threat to Amir Khan. I will bump this thread next year when Khan will be a World champion.

I think Khan will fight him in 2008. Its no point putting him in with the likes of Katsidis in 2009 if they are not willing to fight Thaxton in the next few months.
