That Calzaghe fight was stopped pre-maturely, I think everyone should be able to agree with that. Then Manfrado Sauce didn't do bad verse Lacy, everyone thought Lacy was gonna give him the old

but Lacy didn't

I also think he beat Mora in there last fight, not trying to defend him, but he's not a fraud. He an good club fight, between B & C class to me. At least he doesn't get knocked out & is usually game. So what if he got his name on the contender, wouldn't you do the same?? I sure as hell would

The only name American who was willing to fight him after the schooling he gave to "the next Mike Tyson", the "saviour of boxing", Mr "Left Hook" himself, I think you get the idea. I have utmost respect for Manfredo for coming over here to fight Joe after what he done to Lacy, as I said, he was the only known American willing to fight Joe, and Joe did it to get his name big over there. It clearly worked, as Joe is now fighting B-Hop in Las Vegas. You think if Calzaghe was still unknown B-Hop would fight him?

Manfredo is going to get his head bashed in pretty soon. Because some big names are after him:

1. Kessler may use him as a tune up fight, before fighting bute.
2. Mundine is definetely after him. In fact Mundine wants to take down the contender fighters. First Sakio, then Manfredo. He would KO Manfredo pretty easy.
3. Wouldn't be suprised if Andrade fought him or a belt holder, who can't stitch up a big fight and use him to keep active.

Conclusion: I respect Manfredo's heart, something he has a bit of, he just lacks in overall ability though. And He is likely to be destroyed by one of the three names i have mentioned in the near future unfortunately. Hopefully he can continue to bounce back and put up some competitive performances.

he was willing to do it cuz its MANFREDO.. he had nothing to lose, he got a title shot, and a big payday... why wouldnt he... had nothing to do with guts... he had nothing to lose... he might as well go over there.. i cant believe calzaghe signed a contract to fight him... 42 fights and ur still fighting the biggest bums

Even if the calzaghe fight wasnt stopped, Manfredo didnt even have a chance... Manfredo also tryed to outbox Lacy but he couldnt even do that, Instead he got knocked down like a dumbass. After the knock down he just stayed looking at the clock.. he didnt even want to fight anymore.
The mora/manfredo II... was close i think it could have went both wayz.
Manfredo also looked bad agianst Banks. Im not even talking about athe contender.... Manfredo talks big game but on fight night he dont back it up.

What a ****in moronic thread this is. Granted, Manfredo is no world beater, nor he a bum though. I�d say he�s a fringe contender at best and a journeyman at worst. But whatever the case maybe; he risk�s his life every time he enters the ring and boxing fans should respect that. Wishing that he gets �seriously hurt� is not right and displays your total disregard for the sport. ****in idiot! You�re not even a boxing fan, so get the **** outa here!...

Manfredo has little talent and the fact that he went 12 rounds with Lacy shows the quality of fighter Lacy is. The fact that they are both on Joe's resume is another matter...
