What a joke he should have tried harder 10 years ago, the thing is if this happens ppl will still pay to watch it.

GL: Now that you're as clean as the board of health, are you interested in pursuing commentating gigs?

Mike Tyson: "Nobody is interested in me in that field. I haven't seen any red carpets come out for me. I don't think anybody is looking for me in that perspective."

GL: Is that something you'd entertain if the red carpet were rolled out?

Mike Tyson: "It's not going to happen Greg, they don't feel me like that."
Thats what I don't understand. Why wouldn't one of these boxing networks (i.e. Showtime) put Mike on their team as a commentator? When Mike talks people listen, plus the man has forgotten more about boxing than many of these so called experts know. I think he could be sort of like the Charles Barkley of boxing and give a shot to the arm of a broadcasting team for a network like Showtime that has pretty boring commentary to be honest.

Also, what caught my eye is him possibly changing his style, if he were to come back, that is something he would seriously have to consider doing since he had a young man's style which won't work for him at his age.

              Amazing.

Something important you guys are forgetting though. What if Evander doesn't want anything to do with it? Who could blame him. He lost a piece of his head last time out.

I agree that a network should try out Tyson as a broadcaster. I heard him do broadcasting for a JCC fight and I thought he was really good.
