    fighters with the worst styles

When this topic comes up, I always have a few names that come to mind. One of the first is John Ruiz. What a boring ass, lazy style this dude had, always barging in for the hold after one jab!!!!!!! Remember that ****? Another one that comes to mind is, Juan Manuel Medina. This guy was so sloppy, but yet he was always in great shape. I couldnt stand that ugly ass jab that he always threw and hit with the back side of the glove. What about ****in Chris Byrd? This guy had a ****** habbit of putting his hands up like a muay thai fighter but with his fists unclinched. Threw plenty of punches but never seemed to have enough power. Last but not least, Daniel Ponce de Leon. Wow, this guy has to be the worst of them all. This guy throws some of the weirdest punches I have ever seen, totally leans in with his lead lefts and always advertises his punches. Not to mention he always throws the same punches over and over. I know you guys have a few of your own to add to this list!!!!!!!!! http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/im...les/boxing.gif

For a fan or viewer of boxing Hopkins, Tarver and Ruiz had the most boring/worst styles.

As a boxer...to keep yourself healthy have longevity and still remain effective and efficient the worst would have to be Hatton, Gatti, Baldomir. They got hit way to much and depended too much on there chin, stamina and recovery ability. Just look at the scar tissue over Hatton and Gatti's eyes and you'll see they were hit a whole lot throughtout there carrers. The fact that they still won a vast majority of there fights is a testament to there chin, heart, stamina and determination.

Bernard Hopkins has a dirty, ugly style. He clinches, throws rabbit punches, hits behind the head, headbutts, everything about that guy and his style is just straight up ugly.

If I had a choice of watching paint dry or watching Hopkins vs Wright, I would happily watch the paint dry.

Mayorga... excting but shows such a lack of skill but it does show how far power and chin can take you.
