By Jake Donovan - Chad Dawson has been calling out all of the top light heavyweights ever since he moved up from the super middleweight division two years ago. Glen Johnson has long lived by his most famous quote of not being the best but still wanting to fight the best, with 10 of his last 16 fights coming against light heavyweight opposition universally ranked Top-10 or better. Chad Dawson is going to hit the LHW division like an earthquake this year. Expect good things from him as well as some of the other champs. Maybe Mundine moves up as well to help stack the division. -
Dawson will unify the belts, i actually cant see anyone around that could beat him.

Dawson will beat Hopkins, Woods, Johnson, Jones and Tarver, that's why there all ducking him, particularly Tarver. The only fighter I see beating him on that list of yours is Calzaghe, but once Dawson gets the necessary experience I would favor Dawson over him.Johnson, Calzaghe, Hopkins, Tarver, Woods, possibly JonesComment

Once Dawson has amassed the experience, Calzaghe will be either retired or on the deline. So while a Dawson/Calzaghe fight favors Calzaghe at this present time, in 18 months time, the advantages will be with Chad, for obvious reasons.Comment

LHW is the worst division in boxing right now.
Dawson is damn impressive though. Not perfect, in fact he'll always be at risk to get KO'd, but someone who will win most rounds against any potential opponent.
But apart from Dawson this division is an utter ****fest, unless the big dogs from 168 come north.Comment
