Who owns 140?

I know you're obsessed with this fight night weight stuff, but here's a little tidbit for you:
Someone like Hatton, who blows up FAT between fights, does not LOSE those fat cells when he makes weight, he only SHRINKS them. Hence someone that remains LEAN between fights, like Floyd, will often have a greater percentage of LEAN MUSCLE MASS come fight night, which needs to be factored in with the fight night weight, to determine who is indeed bigger. Unless you think that fat is somehow beneficial in a boxing match.
Floyd has a 3 in longer wingspan than JLC and significantly longer arms (those thingies that I hear are pretty important in boxing.) Without doing a body fat measurement, there isn't really anyway to tell who is BIGGER.Comment

They don't convey the same meaning at all. Let's backtrack a minute. At the start of this thread you said: how come Castillo wasn't "too big". You used the quotation marks to suggest that Hatton himself had said that Floyd was too big when it is now clear that he didn't. Hatton pointed out that he was more natural at welterweight which is nothing more than a statement of fact. Hatton has never once used size, the ref or anything else as an excuse but this does not stop you persisting in your quest to say that he did. You are shown up as a liar time and time again and yet it still doesn't stop you from perpetuating more myths.
When are you going to call it a day and start trying to regain some credibility?Comment

Was Ricky not ripped/lean on fight night? Was he carrying substantial bodyfat?I know you're obsessed with this fight night weight stuff, but here's a little tidbit for you:

Here's how I measure somebody's size: What they weigh when they are fully hydrated. Not the weigh-in weight. For example, Gatti weighed in at 140 for Gamache. Nobody in their right mind will tell you that there wasn't a big size discrepancy in that fight.Comment

"he's more natural than me at that weight" is substantially different than "he's too big for me" in your eyes? They don't convey the same meaning at all. Let's backtrack a minute. Credibility with whom? you? People I never met? Yeah. That's critical.Comment

So Butterbean is much bigger and has a strength advantage over say, a Shannon Briggs (the 270 version that fought Ibragimov ?)
Impossible to just look at someone and tell if they're ripped or not, I'm sure you've heard of intramuscular fat, you know like that marbling in say, a ribeye?Comment

Do you believe that Floyd and Ricky's in-shape bf% are more than a couple of points apart? So Butterbean is much bigger and has a strength advantage over say, a Shannon Briggs (the 270 version that fought Ibragimov ?)

In a quote that you posted in this thread Hatton said he wasn't good enough to beat Floyd. You posted that quote but seemingly didn't read it or it didn't sink in. What hope have I got of getting through to you if you don't even take in the things you post yourself?Comment
