I've heard a number of fighters say Calzaghe slaps, but funnily enough only before the fight, never after. Wonder why that is?

Calzaghe will coast easily to a clear and decisive win, either on points or late TKO. Anybody ****** enough to say Bernard has never been knocked out so it cant happen are the same kinda people who said it about Taylor, and we all know what happened there. Calzaghe hits harder than 99% of people give him credit for, especially Americans, who have only really seen him post Lacy. Calzaghe protects his hands a lot and pulls most if not all of his punches, but in the later rounds, when he has comfortably won all that have gone before, expect to see him open up and put on a show, demoralising Hopkins with his accuracy and work rate, and putting him away with a few well placed solid shots.

Never underestimate Calzaghe, I had a LOT of money riding on him in the Lacy fight at good odds, and made a ****ing ****load. I hope everybody here has the sense to put it all on Joe.

Peroxide, I understand your a avid Calzaghe fan, especially when you live in same country as him, but you have to be realistic. Calzaghe is not Kelly Pavlik, he's most likely not going to knock out bhop. one BHop has a good chin, 2 he has one of the best defenses of the game, & third even calzaghe admits he relpys more now on speed and skill then on power, which he had more of in his younger years. If Calzghe can't even get manfrado down of the canvas, he's prob not gonna get BHOP there. Im picking BHOP by close UD, but could see it going Calzaghes way. It will be an interesting bout.
