Malignaggi, as much as I like him, did NOT win that fight, by any stretch of the imagination. If he had won a close split or majority decision by a point or 2 I wouldnbt have made a fuss about it, boxing is objective. But to give him 9 rounds to Ngoudjos 3 is just simply astounding. I thought judges watched the fight, not did something else for 36 minutes then give a lopsided decision to the defending champion, regardless of whether he won or not.
Anybody who believes that to be great you have to fight in America, how can you be great when you cant get a decision, no matter how big the margin you won by? And then they wonder why TRUE greats like Calzaghe dont want to fight in the gift giving capitol of the world.
Edit: I take back that "gift giving capitol of the world" comment, America is a very close second to Germany on the back of the Sven Ottke disgrace.
