    Final Thoughts on Malignaggi/Ngoudo

Paulie didnt look like himself tonight. His vintage speed and accuracy wasnt there and he kept circling to his right which was Ngoudo's danger zone. I thought Herman was the fighter who was most confident in the ring. This was evident when he caught Paulie with that second right that stunned him. Since that shot, Paulie got cautious and forgot his jab. I thought the fight was much closer than what the judges scored. I had Paulie up by one point though wouldnt have been mad or surprised at a draw. Ngoudo surprisingly was all class at the results though he felt he won the fight.

I hope whatever was handicapping Paulie tonight gets resolved because as his opposition increases in talent, he wont be able to get away with a performance like this.

lol his 'vintage speed and accuracy'. What? The speed and accuracy he showed against N'dou, and the other ESPN club fighters he has on his resume.

This guy is a clown of a fighter. Like i have mentioned for the past year.

His footspeed is fast but his footwork is bad.
    He's an arm puncher.
    No leverage on his shots.
    No body punching.

    ....he's horrid, dude.

Herman Ngoudo is a rough and tough fighter..he has a tight defense and he is hard to shine against...just ask JLC.

I think styles makes fight and Paulie dug deep and beat the awkward Ngoudo.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts on this fight. Some of those judges cards were bull****, but I thought Malignaggi deserved the win.

Randall Bailey beat him up dude. Ngoudjo got a gift.

Emmanuel Augustus had Ngoudjo out on his feet in the 12th round in a very close fight also.

So yeah...there goes your **** ass theory.

You suck as a poster and you dont know **** all.

Why dont you go to maxboxing or something?

I agree. All fighters get off nights, and Herman certainly came to fight on top of that. Perhaps it was the layoff for Paulie, 7 months is a long time for his style. But he won it and hopefully he'll do even better the next time.

JLC who is shot and that's the only reason Hatton beat him?

Paulie did just enough to edge him out.
