I also think he would beat Rees,Rees isnt nothing special,Gavins just a fighter who trys to outwork you,****,he doesnt even take boxing too serious and is always out of shape,he basicly outworked M'baye to win, didnt hurt him, just outworked him every round,Lamont wouldent let him do that,he'd make him look clumsy,he would outbox him IMO and even outbrawl him,i think hes too skilled for Rees, who i do not rate as high as Hatton,Witter etc

I also think Lamont would defeat Ricardo Torres

I think he needs to chase these guys before he steps in with Ricky Hatton or Witter

I've never seen Rees fight, but Peterson defintitely isn't ready for Junior Witter. Much too big of a jump in class. Peterson needs to develop his offense more. His brother is ahead of him IMO.

I wouldn't say his brother is ahead of him I just think it's evident he has less pop than him. Power can't be taught.

I understand your point, but to me Lamont just waits around for his opponent to make mistakes. He has a tight defense and good reflexes, but I don't think that will be enough against the highest level in that weight class. Since he doesn't have the power his brother does, he needs to make things happen. His opponent last night was made to order, and the fight was still a dud.

Anyone can beat Rees, he is terrible. I like Peterson but he is'nt ready for Witter. One of my favourite prospects in the game though along with Khan and Andy Lee.

                    He would because....Rees is ****!

he won the title by beating M'Baye who barely even threw a punch all fight!
