I have a feeling Oscar will be feeling the same way. When's the last time Roy had to make the 170 limit anyway? 10 years?

I said this when the fight was first made, THE ONLY CHANCE TRINIDAD HAS AT BEATING JONES JR IS IF JONES JR IS WEIGHT DRAINED AND COMES IN THE FIGHT TIRED. other then that Trinidad doesn't have a chance, and don't fool yourselves idiots, Trinidad doesn't hardly punch as hard as Antonio Tarver or Glen Johnson

Jones has been up and down the scales and it must be killing his body. Jones' logic was that since he'd been a 168 pounder, it'd be cake. He's 39 now and he's finding out how tough it is being an old fighter. Even the great Roy Jones has to bow to age.

If Tito has any chance against a naturally larger man, it'll probably come with Jones' body completely giving out due to weight complications. If Jones can make the weight, he'll be reduced to fighting in spurts and in 4 corner defensive mode. Even still, sensibility tells me it's Jones' fight to lose.

i wonder is roy is really having problems! maybe he is just trying to make tito think he has an advantage so he tries to jump on roy early, and tires himself out? who knows!

I agree, either that or he had better make it a quick fight.
I think his style and his speed will still be enough to win over Tito though it's not like Tito has been active or hasn't had his own problems with weight over the years.

roy hasn't been that light for a fight since 1996.

maybe tito will have a chance then. roy will be drained.
