Could Junior Witter clean out the divison?

IMO Junior Witter is one of the most underrated fighters today, and he hardly gets any press unless Hatton's name comes up. A very great technical fighter, with good power, along with sharp crisp counter punching. I don't see any fighter at 140 or below beating him. Here is some fighters that could POSSIBLY beat him.

Paulie Malignaggi - A very slick fighter, although I don't like him, I do appreciate his skills. Not a power puncher but his very accurate with his punches and has show improvement after his beating from Cotto. I see this as a 70-30 matchup in Witter's favor. There both similar in that they prefer defense instead of offense, but Witter is the better counter-puncher, and has more power, along with experience.

Ricardo Torres - A big puncher, with decent skills, also a fighter who lost to Cotto. His power and aggressive style might pose problems for Witter.

Manny Pacquiao - Not a big junior welterweight, but his power along with his long arms could pose problems for Witter as well.

There is also good fighters out there as well such as Gavin Rees and Andreas Kotelnik. If Junior Witter cleans out the division or at least beats most of the top fighters I think it would do well for his legacy.

No way Hatton would demolish him

Witter can and will beat Hatton.

Hatton has a very good chance of beating Malignaggi if Paulie fights the wrong fight. PM doesn't have the pop that Mayweather does to hurt and wear down Ricky. But I can easily see PM giving Ricky a 12 round boxing lesson with elusiveness, speed and accurate volume punching. Oh, and that jab.

      Paulie should beat Witter.

The division is very interesting because on any given night, any of the top guys can beat any of the others.

Throw in another layer of complexity if Zab was smart and went back to 140.

he has no legacy! he won his paper belt in an eliminator. he fought zab judah and that was his biggest fight and he lost 118-110 on 2 cards! he never engaged zab, and was content to stay on the outside refusing to engage, and running around the entire fight! zab even commented after the fight about how he would have wore his running shoes had he known he would be running so much to catch witter! ! he is overrated imhop, and is not as good as u think! 70-30 with paulie in witters favor? wtf r u smoking? plus he is boring, and has few fans! noone wants to put together a fight with a fighter who has no fan base!

Witter should, at the very least, be given a chance. He called out both Malignaggi and Hatton to fight him, neither man has answered his challenge yet.

Dios, Witter is a stylistic nightmare for Paulie, he is a switch hitter often changes his stance fighting and a slick counter puncher with great pop, he will fight southpaw and then switch to orthodox to confuse you and he is very quick, his speed is one of his best attributes.

Any of the top fighters could clear out the division to be honest there really isn't that much depth to be fair, but hopefully over the next year or so i'll be proven wrong.

Athletic stylists often have trouble with other athletic stylists. I think Paulie can outbox Witter. He can match/exceed JW's speed, he won't get rattled. He is a tough kid in great shape with a ton of confidence.

Personally I think Witter can beat Paulie. As Parody said, Witter can confuse you. One attribute that Witter has over Paulie is his power which I think is the deciding factor.

I still want to see these two fight before either fighter gets Hatton, it's more logical that way.

Yeah but that means Hatton wont fight for at least 6 months
