    4 Fighters to have a massive 2008

3 Fighters here to watch out for:

    1. Amir Khan) This guy is seriously talented and has the overall ability to be a start in the sport. He needs to stay mentally strong. Im sure he can and will beat a few big names in 2008. And from there his career should just take off.

    2. Wladamir Klitschko) I can see him unifying the heavyweight division. He has achieved a lot in the sport, but 2008, will be massive for him. Unifying the division will be great for the sport, and a big year for him.

    3. Anthony Mundine) Im tipping him to beat Bika, Lacy and then either Kessler or Bute. He may take a rematch with Green for the WBA light heavyweight title. A fight which he would surely win and become a two division champion. Which would pretty much entice Calzaghe to fight him at LHW, considering Calzaghe has stated he would love to be a two division champion and that Hopkins has no belts. A lot of you will get on my back for rating him this high. I have seen this guy sparring, and he is talented big time. Hes developing rapidly aswell (no amateur career). Needs to take the big fights though and he may just do that.

    4. Floyd Mayweather) He will only fight once. But it will be another big win. He will most likely fight Cotto, Williams or Margarito before he retires. Either three will fight him in 2008. I feel Floyd wins a UD over Cotto and Margarito, a wide UD. Williams will give him trouble and Floyd will only take a close UD. But he will only fight one of them, and a win over them is still massive and further cements his legacy. And its another big year for Floyd.

    Divisions to watch out for:

    1. Welters
    2. Super Middleweight (Going off an abundance of talent)

    Divisions not to watch for:

    1. LHW, extremely weak at the moment.
    2. Middleweight, with Pavlik and Taylor moving up to SMW.

Its been a great 2007. Lets hope 2008 is just as good. Our sport is healthy and continues to go from strength to strengh which is what us boxing fans desire.

I'm sure Calzaghe will go out with a **** winning his 2 fights next year in an impressive fashion (well maybe not against Borehard).

My Big Question. If Mundine takes Green WBA light heavyweight title. Will Calzaghe fight Mundine. And Where? "Calzaghe has said numerous times he aims to be a two division world champion".

Calzaghe is great. Every time hes in the ring, its a great sight.

It'd be very doubtful, not now he is on the verge of retiring. Personally I think he'll go for Hopkins and then Taylor

Why would he want to fight mundine?? Mundine is a unknown and the yanks woulnt be interested in that one little bit.
              I'm looking at
berto to have a good 2008

pavlik to have a good 2008

cotto to have a good 2008

And i know this wont happen as he looks finished but hopefully lacy can come bacl and win a title, it wont happen though.

I don't think he will to be hounest. Seeing as Kessler has his name on his resume and Calzaghe has Kessler's name on his resume then people will question him although Mundine has improved lately.

After Hopkins I can see either Woods (IBF Light Heavyweight Champion) in Cardiff as a good bye fight, Jermain Taylor or Roy Jones Jr.

Because he will have the LHW belt. And Calzaghe has said he wants to be a two division world champion. Mundine may possess a less threat than Dawson, Erdei or Woods according to the Calzaghe camp.

Agree with Cotto and Pavlik. Not so much with Berto.
