I'll try to a round by round for Lamont Peterson's bout, but if I stop doing it it's because it's boring and onesided like the Vernon Forrest fight recently.
Masquieta comes out blazing with wild shots Ricardo Mayorga style. Nothing to extreme and Lamont plays the counter puncher and is effective. Lamont landed a right hand when Masqueita was off balance. Ruled a slip. Afterwards Lamont becomes somewhat more agressive and lands cleaner shots. Masquieta tries to switch to southpaw with no avail.
Round 2: Pretty onesided by Lamont. Stuck the jab out there and landed cleaner shots. Masquieta would throw those looping shots and lamont showed great defense by blocking most of them and even rolling with his shoulder and having them miss.
Round 3: Lamont showed great defense as it becomes more one sided. Showing fast hands and decent accuracy. Masquieta likes to constantly while about "low blows" (they hit the body or the belt line) and "headbutts"
30-27 Lamont.
edit: Round 4 is pretty much the same thing except no complaining.
Round 5: An interesting round. Lamont does more combinations and catches Mesquieta with a left hook that barely knocks him down. Later in the round Mesquieta lands a left (?) that backs Lamont to the ropes and almost got knocked down. But it was still Lamont's round.
