    Alexander Dimitrenko

I think Dimitrenko is going to be a really good bet to win a Heavyweight title and hold the belt thru multiple defences. He seems like a super prospect.
For those familiar with him, what kind of potential do you think he shows?

Well, he's gotta fight the past-prime Krasniqi to see where he's at.
The problem I think is that he with Universum and they tend to not let their fighters out of Germany if starts to rain. They like to keep them protected so we won't hear much from him for a while unless of course a Goofi Whitaker or Dominic Guinn steps on the plane to Hamburg.
They also have Chagaeev and Boystov so he's probably third in line as far as Universum heavyweights go.
He fought pretty courageously against Hoffman and he's got some great natural size, I just don't think he'll make that much of an impact any time soon.

Some people underestimate Dimitrenko because they watch the difficult moments he had against Batchelder on YouTube, but he looked great against big Malcolm Tann in his next fight, and also did very well against Hoffmann.

He's coming along very well, seems to be improving with each fight now. He's probably a late maturer, so he won't reach his peak for a couple more years. He has size and talent, what he needs is a world-class trainer like Jeff Mayweather to help him reach his potential.
