How's fighting the 11th ranked Concepcion a title eliminator? Juanma is already the mandatory. Concepcion is a good fight for Juanma, but Juanma doesn't need Concepcion to get a shot at Ponce. Ponce needs to take care of his mandatory in Juanma if he wants to keep his title or duck him.

Ponce looked great against Bautista and just overwhelmed him, but in his last fight he looked sloppy and wild. Juan Manuel is a good boxer and has decent power. I don't really know about his chin, but I think if he were able to handle De Leon early on he could win by outboxing him. Will be an interesting fight if it happens later this year.

My money is on JuanMa! Daniel Ponce de Leon looked horrible with a boxer in Eduardo Escobedo and is the reason he lost to Celestino. Boxers really know how to beat the Mexican bomber. JuanMa is no punk and has great power and very good boxing skills. Look for a UD for JuanMa or late stoppage.

juanma is big for his weight too, so that another advantage he has, he better not be mentally weak either, cause ponce will pressure him all night
