Unbeaten Puerto Rican prospect Juan Manuel Lopez (20-0, 18KOs) has set his sights on WBO super bantamweight champion Daniel Ponce De Leon (34-1, 30KOs). Lopez, promoted by Top Rank, says that Golden Boy Promotions is first looking to match Ponce De Leon in a rematch with bantamweight champ Gerry Penalosa. I would love to see this fight happen. But I feel it woudl be similar to Bautista-Ponce. Lopez is still too green I think and he'll get destroyed quickly. But then again, I already seen Bautista rocked plenty of times prior to facing Ponce, so I knew his chin was fragile. I"ve yet to see Lopez hurt and his chin could be the deciding factor because he has power of his own and decent boxing abilities, but I dunno how he'll hand diversity which Ponce has done in the past. -

Yeah well...Juanma aint no Bautista. He's pretty slick too, I've only seen a couple of fights though so I dont know. De Leon is pretty ordinary if you can take his punch. If...
And I bet this is part of the PR undercard Arum was talking about granted Cotto doesnt fight in June.Comment
