Difficult to say because alot of people say he was at his best at Super middle but he didnt really have enough fights there, then you could argue around the time he fought Glen Kelly and Clinton Woods and even against Ruiz before the move back down from Heavyweight. However i would probably say the Tooney fight as that was a fight where he was awesome against an incredible opponent.
It was a real nasty punch from del Valle, Jones legs were completely gone for a moment, but he recovered well.
actually if you watch the clip, i have the fight on dvd, it looks more like a slip, but because he was SORT OF hit at the same time, it was counted as a knock down
and in my personal opinion, from having every single fight of his and watching all of them... his absolute physical peak was the vinny pazienza fight, he was truly superman in this fight.... you need to re-watch it and see what i mean... he could of beaten anyone that day... truly
