    A Mouth Watering Division

Welcome To The Super Middleweight Division:

    Champion : Joe Calzaghe

Contender Number 1 : Mikkel Kessler

Contender Number 2 : Anthony Mundine

Contender Number 3 : Luciano Bute

    Other Class Fighters:
    - Inkin
    - Andrade

Out Of Form - But Potential - To Come Back Strong:
    - Lacy

    The Dark Horse :
    - Froch

What Makes this division so special to me is its depth. Even if Calzaghe moves up to LHW , its still the second strongest behind welters. But it possibly could be the strongest.

You have Kessler, who on paper beats everyone from MW, SMW to LHW but Calzaghe. But then you have a couple of guys that can knock him off. If Mundine fights well in a rematch, showing everything that he has improved, i genuinely think he can beat Kessler.

Then we have Luciano Bute. Could he beat Kessler? I doubt it. Hes powerful though and anything could happen.

So to me Calzaghe beats Kessler. Kessler beat Mundine once. But this time i think Mundine can score a close UD over Kessler. But Bute could beat Mundine. But Kessler could beat Bute. And Froch could beat Inkin. But Inkin can beat Andrade.

Its shaping into a really top division. So much can happen.

P.S We are waiting on the entrance of a couple of fighters who you might have heard of. "Kelly Pavlik" And "Jermain Taylor".

I can see where you're trying to go with this, and in parts you are right, but you cant call a division "mouth watering" when it has an undisputed champion holding 3 of 4 belts who could walk through any contender without so much as breaking a sweat. Kessler was outclassed, and he would beat the rest on your list with ease, so surely Calzaghe would too? When Joe does move up to LHW it will be a brilliant division indeed only second to welterweight, but sadly when one man is as dominant as Joe it makes the division look ****.

totally agree, it's one and if not the most exiting division in boxing with nearly every contender aving great abilitys,
calzaghe enough said p4p top 3 in my opinion,

      kessler great power.

mundine arrogant and has fast quick skills.

bute dnt really no much but looks good.

lacy, doing poor at moment but has has huge power and exiting to watch.
thats only the top 5 plus you have inkin, froch, bika, andrade and hopefully codrington one day.
Not to forget it's going to have kelly pavlik and jermain taylor init soon as well proberly by the end of the year.
When those to arrive it may be the best division in boxing.

Definitely a DEEP division with some good fighters. Personally the MW division will be back in the limelight ina year or two with ALOT of very good prospects coming up.

I really hope Lacy can pull himself together, he was exciting before calzaghe. I hope that his next fight perhaps against Tarver can redeem him. His confidence seems shot but his power is still there.

When Floyd unifies his division and shows that there is no man in his league then I will agree with you, until that day, no he isnt.

This fool only hates this division because Calzaghe is the undisputed champion. Does that mean when he destroys all the LHW contenders youre gunna hate that division too? You should get some new opinions, youre starting to sound like a broken record.
