I tend to think that Dan Rafael is one of the better correspondants out there. I usually agree with most of the things he says, and its no different with this list. The respect wish for Hattons fans is a valid one, their behaviour during the US national anthem was embarrasing. Mozza, im sure his comment about Roger getting his own show are tongue in cheek, Rafael sees Roger as a comedy character.

As an American, I'm getting really tired of people bitching about that. So what if a couple of hundred drunks showed no class and booed? Sure it was low class, but it had nothing to do with the fight or either boxer. It's time to move past this already.

Oh ****, people are still crying about a bunch of hatton fans booing the american anthem? Lol, do we like to overplay the victim role.

It lacked class but so ****ing what? Most people in the aftermath of that fight were disappointed but still found time to praise the British fans for creating a carnival atmosphere and now almost a month latter this speccy, fat prick is still going on about it. A better wish would have been for fans of any other boxer to learn one song instead of lambasting Hatton's supporters for support which was, booing excepted, nothing short of extraordinary.

Exactly my point. It was tasteless, it lacked class but it happened so let's move onwards and upwards looking forward to fights which have both fighters receiving boisterous vocal support.

Dan Rafael praised the Hatton fans on numerous occasions. As i've said alot of this list is tongue in cheek.

If his next list is like that it will be a case of fist in cheek.

Who said I was still mad (if that was directed at me) who said I was mad at all? I am giving a reasoning to people's quarrels about the particular incident. IMO I found it disrespectful right until the bell rang. Than I didn't remember the incident happening until it was brought up in threads like these.

It wasn't directed at you personally, but at the people (like Dan Rafael) who keep harping on it. It's been almost a month since that happened and to me it is played out. I'll have to learn to be more careful with quotes when I make comments like that.
