I don't care about race, nationality or anything when it comes to judging a fighter from my point of view. But the English take it personally. The English overrate their fighters. And who cares if mayweather fights only in the states, thats different. Theres better competition here. If there was better competition in England, than Floyd should be fighting in England. You don't prove you're the best by playing in NFL Europe, you prove you're the best by playing in the NFL.
But never leaving the U.S. and fighting mostly U.S. fighters makes you the best in the world? According to american jounalists it does. Funny how that is.

true. ****** biased if you ask me. how can u consider yourself world champ if you haven't fought no one outside your country??
you don't win the olympics by competing against yourself.

There have been other hyped fighters beaten by British fighters.

And Lacy did demolish Robin Reid who gave big trouble to Calzaghe, many picked Lacy to beat Calzaghe and to be the next star of boxing.

I think if you're the man to beat people should fight you in your country. And by being the man to beat I don't mean you are an alphabet champion but a real champion.

For example I wouldn't blame Pavlik of ducking if Abraham refused to fight him in the U.S and Pavlik refused to fight Abraham in Germany. Abraham should be the one to blame.

If you notice, even when my son stopped him, it wasn't an in-close shot. my son was off of where he could get a solid shot off. He wasn't smothering him. That was the biggest thing he had going for him man, grabbing and trying to survive. He wasn't in the same caliber as Lil Floyd in no kind of way. I don't know why...well, I guess thats the best England had and that let's you know England ain't got ****! It was plain to see, Stevie Wonder could have seen how that was going to go down. I was really surprised that Cortez let him fight that way. I was surprised he was letting him hold like that. Lil Floyd did what he was supposed to. The whole thing is man, I think everybody got a chance to see Hatton and what he is all about and there it is."

Take into account that he doesn't like his son very much and he bashes his son in this interview about going into the MMA and he actually said "Lil Floyd about to get his ass tore up man".

The Americans aren't underrating England's fighters. They are being put in their place and the English don't like it. But like it or not, its the truth. Hatton was the best fighter England had to offer before Mayweather exposed him, now, Calzaghe is the best fighter England has to offer. If I had said that hatton isn't all that and Mayweather is gonna dominate him before that fight, I would've been told that I'm underrating him cuz I hate english fighters(even though I'm canadian).
Calzaghe is Welsh dip**** not English

Jeff Lacy was even more hyped than Jermain ****ing Taylor before he fought Calzaghe so Lacy is equivelent to Joe Calzaghe having Taylor on his resume.

That is what you call ignorance.
And the sad thing is that is why there are certain problems in our world.
You may chuckle to yourself but the bottom line is it isn't funny.
America is like a child with a loaded handgun in it's hand at times.
If you don't get what I mean you must be a part of the problem.
