This is getting boring and the fact that hes making statements about retirement and going into MMA at the same time feels insulting to me as a boxing fan.

Maybe when he was interviewed after the Hatton fight and he said, "I've been bored with the SPORT of boxing for a very long time now", he REALLY did mean it?

Floyd is an amazing boxer. Period. He has one of the worst boxing games to transition into MMA with. He won't ever do MMA. He is a legendary boxer who needs to stick to boxing. Just like GSP and Fedor need to stick to MMA and will.

Ya. It would be bad for boxing. Floyd needs to stick with boxing. If he can make a good promotion company he could be a major major figure in the sport in a few years. He has no hope of promoting in MMA, and competing in it would take a lot of the spotlight away from boxing when 2007 was one of it's best years ever.
