By the way, I started a new career with Winky Wright. I have a new habit now. Only throwing right hooks so I can permanently make all my opponents blind in their left eye.

Anyway, I fought old Jake Lamotta again (the poor bastard always brings the best out of me).

The fight got stopped in two rounds, because his left eye was about to fall out of his head.

The final punchstats were

Wright:
59/60 98%

Generally, I am really good at video games, as long as I am playing the computer, because I am able to figure out a great plan A.

But like Shane Mosley, when someone brings something I am not prepared for, I usually get wiped out.

It doesn't help that my favorite fighter in the game is also one of the worst. That upright/hard straights combination is TERRIBLE for effective fighting.

really? i usually beat most people that use jermain taylor on xbox live for 360, while using winky wright.

I use Winky like all the time.

I find his Hard Straights very effective.. His 1-2 combo is deadly if you start with the right cross first. His jab is slow and robotish though.. But besides that, I love Winky in that game.

Roy Jones used to kick my ass all the time when I tried to fight like Wright with my guard up... even Roy Jones controlled by the computer.

Left cross maybe? Unless you shift him to orthodox for some reason...

It just kills me to start the 1-2 with the 2. The 2-1 doesn't even make sense!

Lol, all this **** just means that Fight Night really needs some work before they come out with the next one (if they ever do).

lol, i switch to orthodox when using winky. yeah it feels weird starting off with the right straight, then jab. i just dont see that much in real life boxing. but it's effective in the game. that jab is to slow to start off with
