lol...That was very suprising Tarver talked so much **** leading up to that fight.

I didn't believe that **** for one second, I thought his jab might have troubled Bernard for a couple of rounds but I knew that Bernard was gonna take it to him, just not as easily as he did.

Tarver was more concerned about the fact that he was being made out to be the opponent than he was the fight.

And Eubank told Roy Jones that Calzaghe would be 'career suicide'.

Anyway, Calzaghe has been talking about light-heavyweight since before he even turned pro. He only starved himself to make super-middle because that's where all the money was and all the names were - Benn, Eubank, Collins, Roy Jones... and all the great fights - Benn-McClellan, Eubank-Collins, Littles-Liles... and all his rivals - Francis, Reid, Woodhall...

He said after the fight with Byron Mitchell that he'd be moving up light-heavy, but Frank Warren kept talking him out of it, until finally Warren got him a fight with Glen Johnson in 2004 and Calzaghe pulled out late (and again in 2006!)...

So you mean to tell me Hopkins moving up to fight Tarver wasnt a brilliant business move. That Tarver wasnt one of the most overrated fighters of the era. That Tarver just cought Jones at the right time, and happened to be a style mismatch on top of that.

Kessler was the legacy sealing fight. The Lacy fight wasnt enough. After Hopkins unified he fought Morrad ****ing Hakar or whatever the guys name was. And he sat around to do it.
