I mean how can you not realise that MMA and boxing are two completely different sports and the only thing that they have in common is that they are combat sports.
Floyd is a talented boxer, but he is a BOXER who was trained boxing his whole life, his thinking is of boxing, his reflexes is of boxing and his body mechanics is of boxing. And MMA is a completely different sport that needs a very different mindset and mechanics.
I mean you can put Jackie Robinson against some world class swimmer and he will be in a pool load of trouble.
And Wlad is totally right, any decent trainer will tell you that transition from one sport to another is insanely hard, especially for an established athlete.Comment
