I gave it to Calzaghe by a few rounds but have no problem with anyone who gave it to Reid. Also its hardly a robbery as has been said, and it is unlikely an English fighter fighting in England will get robbed fighting a welshman!...also back then Calzaghe's career was losing impetus and he was a crappy draw.Comment

Yeah, no way that fight was a robbery. It was very close and could have gone either way. I personally just gave it to Calzaghe but anyone saying they gave it to Reid I wouldn't argue with.
Actually I kind of feel for Reid. He got stiffed a lot in his career. He was a very good fighter in his day and had he been from America he would have had a great career. Instead he got screwed by paid off refs trying to keep their home town guy on the win.
Now, talking about robberies, how about Reid vs Ottke! That was a robbery and one of the worst refs I've seen. Ottke was ****e and was beaten so many times especially against Reid. As well as against Lacy when Reid was too old and over it the ref was an utter disgrace!! Reid nearly gets KO'ed by Lacy after the ref yells "STOP!" and gets in to break it up then Lacy decks Reid with a monstrous right hand as Reid is looking away at the ref....Then the ref calls it a knockdown and takes a point away from Reid for a headbutt...!!!!
That fight frustrated the hell out of me. Talk about dreadful hometown paid off refereeing. I think Reid is now a part time **** star...lol
