That's the reason that I thought Calzaghe's victory over him was so amazing. Kessler really didn't make very many mistakes at all.
I agree. Kessler fought a very good fight, making almost no mistakes but Calzaghe is just on another level.

Nonetheless..I like Kessler hes still young and can make some noise.

Kessler vs. Pavlik at 160...168..or a catch weight like 165 or 166.

      Man I would love that.
I didn't see that fight, but I have seen some clips of Kessler hitting Andrade's chin with the force of a tank, and Andrade being unphased.

To be honest, I have heard that Andrade absolutely ****ing sucks, and that his chin is the only reason he stayed undefeated long enough to fight Kessler.

It might be a Baldomir type of chin to be honest.

I'd say it's probably a little overrated (most fighters's power is overrated until they face their best competition), but he can knock people out, no doubt about it.

To me it had to be the Echols brawl.

Hopkins got a taste of his own medicine in those fights...but obviously he has names like ODH..Trinidad...Joppy...Winky...Tarver.

That's honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread.

It's true, he did fight a bigger Tarver.

But his legacy is at middleweight. Did he fight anyone of note that was bigger than him, or even the same size?

All of his names on his resume at 160 were 154 pounders (and I'm being generous calling them that) coming up.

I certainly think a case can be made that Taylor was bigger than him.

Thats true....Taylor is 6-2...and actually did look bigger than Hopkins.

Man Taylor was a diffrent animal back then.
