Which Big occasions has he risen to in the past?
Apart from him beating on little Tito & Oscar ?
And a win over an inactive overrated Tarver?
Or beating on the Light middle Winky?

This time he is fighting a PRIME FIGHTER his OWN SIZE who throws a 1000 punches a fight.
    Bore-hard can barely throw 20 a round.

I doubt a KO is going to happen in this fight. It's going to be very ugly mark my words. Calzaghe will win but won't look too good. I don't think Hopkins is a good fight to introduce yourself to the American audience.

The old man could get himself DQ'd if he really wants to screw Calzaghe over.

          Calzaghe UD.

Age will prevail. How will Hopkins cope with 100 punches a round?

He's been on Showtime (Lacy) and on HBO twice (Manfredo, Kessler). American boxing fans have seen him already.

No I mean this will be the first time he will box in America.
If Hopkins pulls off another one of his close clinchfests which I believe he will, Calzaghe might just get booed out of the building by the American fans.

Nah Joe will make it a fight. Winky-Hop was always going to look like ****. Taylor lets other people dictate the fight. Joe though is going to force the pace against Hopkins. And any clinches or headbutts will be answered violently.

That's exactly why I predict it will be an ugly fight. Calzaghe roughed up Lacy and Kessler in the clinches and used a lot of 'dirty' tactics to mess up their boxing. Hopkins will do the same and the result will be a VERY ugly fight.

Hopkins won't allow Joe to throw that much trust me.
