    Who is a better fighter?

I was trying to think of two guys that just amazed me because they are not very good, but still managed to get on boxing's center stage.

Who do you think is better?
    29
    Carlos "Tata" Baldomir
    62.07%
    18
    "Irish" Micky Ward
    37.93%

Tough one. Legacy goes to Ward largely due to his fights because of the trilogy, but as for fighting, I'd have to go with Baldomir I think. His size and chin edge him.

Ward is way way way better and it should be obvious, the guy is a legend and pretty much respected by everybody in boxing, in several ring magazine fights of the year.

Baldomir did something Ward couldn't, beat Judah.

Woops, I voted Micky by mistake, Carlos is clearly the better fighter between the 2.

Ward wasn't an over achiever. He never achieved anything. He was a career J-man, maybe even less than that, and a career friday night fight's fighter.

Baldomir was able to rise from the journeyman level to become a champion.
He was also undefeated for how many years, 8?

You could also think of it this way, Baldomir beat Zab, Ward lost to Zab. Therefore, Baldomir>Ward.
